Mindful Movement

Self-discovery begins with exploration

Through an intentional and dedicated yoga practice, guided by the rhythm of our breath and held by self-compassion, we can navigate the ups and downs of life with a newfound sense of ease, hope, and curiosity.

I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can connect with yourself, exactly as you are in this moment. I'm honored to be by your side.

The goodness in me, sees the goodness in you.

In 2023, I made the transformative decision to follow my heart and complete my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). This journey was both challenging and magical, but I embraced every moment with joy and compassion. Since then, I've been honored to share the practice I love as a yoga instructor.

Now, in 2024, I'm thrilled to take on the additional role of Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT). Teaching and learning are both profound joys in my life, and I know my path as a lifelong yogi is only just beginning…

  • Yoga practice is about connecting with yourself, rather than focusing solely on the poses (asanas). Noticing and allowing your breath to guide the practice is a powerful way to transform your experience.

When you practice with me, my aim is to provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space where you can simply be yourself. Most of my teachings are centered on Hatha and Yin yoga styles, and practitioners of all levels, abilities, and body types are always welcome, and specially tailored classes are created for kids (3-11 years old) and teens (12+)

  • Merging yoga and dance can bring a profound sense of freedom to our bodies, minds, and spirits. It allows us to move with no agenda or expectations, simply being present in the moment with a sense of joy.

The practice often begins with yoga philosophy and asanas (postures), which help center, focus, and ground us. The dance element then channels the energetic release and expressive outlet for the class theme, emotions, or lingering thoughts, enabling us to process them through movement.

By letting our bodies move freely, we cultivate a wonderful sense of ease and release. Just as we do in a yoga class, we conclude the practice with relaxation and a short meditation - a necessary pause to appreciate and integrate the experience.

  • When it comes to meditation, there is no single "right" way. The intention is to find a practice that works for you as an individual. Together, we can explore different approaches until you discover what allows you to pause, connect to your breath, and access the space you need within you.

The way in is through the body, with the breath guiding the pace, allowing us to be, feel, and question.
